Trainingwheels made a cool little track called Bad Acid, but it wasn't released yet. So I added a verse. Then he added a verse. Then he made it all interesting and whimsical. Then it got released.

 I have a rapper friend called Thorts. Every so often, someone (usually in a comment section) tells him he needs to find another rapper called 'Prayers' and form a group called Thorts & Prayers. So, I did what any good friend would do and changed my name (temporarily) to Prayrz, and we recorded an EP together. Thorts & Prayrz. It's quirky and loveable and fun, I like it.

I was lucky enough to be included on Volume 4 of legac.y's Technicoloured Dreams EP series, we made a crazy song together called End, it's quite excellent.

 Thorts & Whatever Cecil just dropped a dope EP called Long Distance, I'm on a song called Winter Pepper and it's pretty damn good.

It was a pleasure to work with my sib from another crib, Bastian Bucks, on this song from his forthcoming Felt EP. We had a great time putting it together, especially the third verse, where we have some fun rocking out some back-and-forth styles. Not to be slept on.

I've been making music with Wakemare for almost 15 years now, he was actually my guitar teacher back at the tender age of 14 (long before we collaborated). At the start of 2019, in the wake of each of us suffering significant personal loss, we decided to focus our energies and make an album. It's brutal, it's tender, it's grit-hop. 

MonkeyPuppet is largely a collection of things I was working on (slowly) around the time my daughter was born. My recording computer died, and I was left with the task of trying to salvage these half-finished projects and bundle them up for release. Bastian Bucks, always the hero, swooped in and helped mix/master them, as well as contributing vocal performances to songs that I had no way to finish without a functional studio. A varied collection of tracks.
